the only thing I didn't like about them was their limited compatibility with only resin pads. Shimano also sells them and they're reasonably priced, but they're still limited. If you think you can get away with using standard or semi-metal pads you'll ruin the rotor, and if you push too hard while doing so, it won't look nice. If you buy this make sure you already have one or buy polymer pads. In terms of performance, I'm very happy with the Shimano combo of new rotors and pads. Took my bike up an incredibly steep hill to drop them off. They will still sing when wet but not as loud as the kit I replaced.
