May cause water hammer
After our plumber installed this filter system in our home, we experienced water hammer and pipe rattling after the first filter change. When the control lever is adjusted to bypass the filtration, the knock will disappear and will return when the lever is adjusted to filter the water. Our plumber said the problem was with the filter and they needed to install an additional water hammer valve which cost about $125. The first filter changed to orange with trapped sediment after a few days (we live in Arizona). The second built-in filter is still white, but filters. Does anyone else have this problem?
