I installed a radio in a Jeep Wrangler TJ and didn't want to spend a lot of money on a new head unit as they are often stolen from these cars. The old head unit only had one set of RCA outputs which I wanted to use for a subwoofer but still wanted to connect the RCA to a small 4 channel amp so I used the old Kicker KISLOC and one of these. Kicker KISLOC seemed to exacerbate my oscillator whistling problem (fixed by changing the ground) so I replaced the RCA to test this one and the noise was nil so I ordered another one of these and have no oscillator whine.
