I decided to buy because of the free return shipping. I wasn't sure I would need it when we actually took the door apart. We really had to replace it. The facility is not for the faint of heart. The hardest part was putting the doorknob back on. The hole is not big enough to insert and rotate like the original part. I would not buy it again for this reason. We fought with the doorknob for half an hour! The door handle is now difficult to open from the inside. I replaced this because my window was stuck in the bottom position and now I have another problem due to this 'fix'. I think they need to redesign the door latch!
