To be honest, when I first opened the bag I wasn't a big fan of the so-called four-needle six-stitch at all. I had a similar rashguard shirt with the same stitching and it irritated my skin when I wore it, but these kind of don't irritate at all. Maybe the threads used to sew these compression leggings are a bit softer I think. Either way, they're smooth and soft to the touch, made primarily of polyester and 10% spandex, and will stretch with your movements during a hard workout or just lounging on the couch. So I ordered them in size L and they fit well, not too tight and not too loose. But since I don't have big feet, they lose a little below the knees for my toothpick legs :). In fact, I think using the size chart on the product page I could get a size M for a tighter fit, or an XL size for a really bad fit like wearing pajamas. All three sizes should fit my 32-34W as they are stretchy. It's very nice to have them for all seasons and for any activity, not too hot and not too cold, breathable and soft on the skin. Washes easily with uniform colors and dries quickly through sweat or water.
