I used them to make cold soap. I've been using molds I bought at my local Michaels craft store for a while and they work really well. But I like this shape better. I think they give my soap a little better shape. I will say that taking it off the wooden part was not so easy. I want to paint the wood with some clear coat because I'm afraid I'll get a splinter from the wood being so damp. look at it now But I still recommend these forms. Great for the price. I think I have about 10 1 inch bars for sale and 12 bars total.
