Review on 🎨 Traveling Doodles: Virginia Falkinburg's ColorIt Illustrated by Kristen Reid

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not a stress reliever book - at least not for me!

I've been drawing for about 5 years and I really like it. I like regular ColorIt coloring books for the top binding, single-sided prints, perforated pages, paper thickness, and variety of printing intricacies. I have to go to doctors' appointments and surgeries a lot, where I have to wait a long time. I usually take a bag with a couple of books and art supplies. I decided to buy 2 travel books. I was very disappointed in them. I don't like it when the prints go to the edge of the paper. They tend to bleed into the next page. I also don't like too much black in the picture. This is how my colors blend into each other. I consider myself a very skilled colorist and I know how to use my pens, markers and pencils so I know it's not my sloppiness. I think I'll give these books to my grandkids because I really don't find much stress relief from coloring them. However, my stress level goes up when I color them. I want to reiterate that I really like the regular ColorIt coloring books. I immediately ordered more of these. I gave away some framed pictures from the books.
