It was a lemon from the start. It came with a broken fan that someone tried to glue, so I had to replace the cooling fan immediately. Then when I went to install, the AC line that came with this inverter was not connected to the inverter leaving my wires exposed between the inverter and the line. Definitely not coding. Then, once I connected the inverter, it stopped working every time the load went over about 2 kilowatts. The inverter is designed for 4kW continuous power and 12kW peak power, which is why I bought it. My DC cables are oversized and my lithium ion batteries are rated to provide 600 amps of continuous current and there's no reason this inverter shouldn't work perfectly. The Aims inverter I received was worse than junk because of the time, money and resources I spent installing it. fix it and try to get it working. I want to buy my next inverter from a reputable solar panel installer with a long manufacturer and installer warranty. I can't afford to pay $1300 for an inverter that doesn't work.
