It was instinctive and the tools provided worked. The strap is made of polyester/polypropylene with a zigzag pattern so the edge of the strap is a series of curves. this makes the edges itch! Has the rope ever frayed and you used a lighter to melt the ends? and on cooling it was rounded, but always a prickly edge? this is what this thing feels like!. It doesn't stretch so you can break the pins if you're just doing pushups while wearing it. I was hoping it would improve breathability over the OEM silicone but ended up with a paracord style burn on my wrist.
