Review on 🔒 Cocoweb 5/8" Heavy Duty Hitch Receiver Locks - Silver by Tim Hodzic

I've never bothered to get a hitch lock pin as all I had was the hitch and ball stolen from my pickup truck. However, I recently bought a trunk for my SUV and found that someone could steal the entire trunk just by pulling a standard needle. This means a much bigger investment. I researched the pins on offer and settled on the Cocoweb C-Lock Heavy Duty clutch pin. I have one in black. The finish is nice, it's solid, well made and has a cap to seal the locking mechanism from the elements. The buttons work fine. When I go to the store and leave the car and the stand in the parking lot, I feel much more comfortable knowing that someone has to go to a lot of trouble to pull the pin out. With a standard needle, it would literally take a few seconds to steal the rack. Not now. worth the peace. I can't comment on road salt corrosion and the like, but something like this on a vehicle needs to be removed and cleaned regularly, especially after exposure to road salt. I really don't think it could have been done any better, it looks and feels premium.
