An improvement over standard lamps
LED lamps are an improvement over standard lamps. They are much brighter than incandescent bulbs. I was having a tough time installing a light on a 2007 Toyota Highlander hatchback. The ends of the bulbs are cone-shaped. The original ends of the lamps were tapered at an angle of about 60 or 75 degrees to the horizontal (like the point of an arrow). The ends of LED bulbs are flatter and taper at an angle of about 30 degrees. The lamp did not capture the LED bulb well.
