Review on πŸš€ Enhanced Performance: Walker Exhaust Ultra EPA 50336 Direct Fit Catalytic Converter by Dan Barrett

Revainrating 1 out of 5

I am an Uber driver and my car is now dismantled.

DEFECTIVE: Wrong catalytic converter assembly, part painted yellow and marked "Faulty". I wish I had noticed this before my mechanic cut the old part off and started installing this part. I spoke to Andrey L., supervisor at Revain. He said the new part had free shipping but it wouldn't arrive until next Tuesday (6 days) and he only refunded me $100 for the cost of my mechanic removing the wrong part that didn't fit. The total cost for mechanics to install and remove that incorrect part and then reinstall the correct part is around $400, assuming the new part actually fits. At the same time, I'm also unemployed, I'm an Uber driver, and my car is now disassembled in my workshop (can't install the old Cat because it was cut, can't install the new one, some reason is not suitable). So I mentioned to Andrey all my lost earnings from not being able to Uber all weekend during the busiest season of the year (December 2015) and he said it was the best he could do. I have also asked him to ship it at night so I can get the part tomorrow (Friday), again he says next Tuesday is the best he can do. Also, the welds on this piece look like they were done by a six year old. The mechanic laughed at how poorly designed this exhaust part was. If I could give this piece, Walker 50336, zero stars or minus 100 stars I would, but 1 star is the lowest rating. Very sad. I have included photos of the part to show the word "defect" in two places on it. Also in this cat there is soot on the screen. It looks like the "brand new" part was fitted to another vehicle, run through, then removed and sent back to Revain who then mailed it to me.
