After 7 months of using this filter, we have come to the conclusion that this filter is not a very good filter at all. Looks good, but is not a very good filter. It filters bad air poorly and filters out cleaner air. For example, if you cook fish or steak with onions, the smell will NOT be removed. And we rattled it all night! I also don't think it does anything when running. We recently bought a Germ Guardian for comparison (note: the Germ Guardian was about $30 cheaper) and it did a great job removing bad smells from the kitchen (like fish, shrimp, steak and onions, etc.). , I can say that FILTER really got something. And the difference in air quality is very noticeable! As a result, I would steer clear of this filter and use Germ Guardian instead.
