Middle strap can be tricky to fit but doable. My problem is that the materials wear out quickly. In less than six months of using the product, the material broke down (without my noticing) resulting in a deep transverse ridge in the frame of my new Yeti bike. This was because the bike was leaning on the tailgate itself (through a hole in the fairing) rather than the trunk during the trip from North Carolina back to Florida. My bike now has more cosmetic damage from using this product than from moderate to professional level cycling. Very disappointing.
