Review on MERIWOOL Merino Wool Mens Large by Andres Imaging

I've been looking for UV protective clothing for everyday use for a long time. I have a rare condition known as solar urticaria (essentially I'm allergic to all forms of UV/UVB radiation) and when exposed to too much light I get hives and severe skin rashes. This shirt does its job perfectly, plus it doesn't smell (at all) after a lot of sweating, it can be hand washed in cold water (this prevents natural oils from being washed away) and air dried. Don't do like me and hang it on a hanger that caused the shoulder deformity. This was easily corrected with repeated washing. I live in Arizona and am comfortable (a bit warm) when temperatures are well above 100F. If you're looking to buy this specifically for the UV protection, I suggest going for black, royal blue, or a dark color. Lighter colors actually allow more UV radiation through the garment, regardless of the chemical treatment. I am completely satisfied with my purchase and intend to replace my entire wardrobe with these shirts.
