My GMC Sierra 1500 2008 2wd started getting traction and stability warnings. And at the same time the press was turned on. After watching a few YouTube videos of all sorts of repairs, I found one that said his brake lights would come on when he hit the brakes. Back then I had a broken clothes dryer in the back of a truck. One night I was driving and noticed in my rear view mirror that as I pressed the brake pedal I could see the 3rd brake light on the dryer was lit. When I pressed the pedal, a red light on the dryer flashed. So I ordered this switch and installed it in 5 minutes. Tested, all signal lights repaired. No more trouble. Hope this helps someone else.
