Great tower but not the best option for WiFi enabled outlets (Alexa).

Love this extension! We have 3 of these in our house, 2 in the living room and 1 in the bedroom. The cable is pulled into the base. So when you plug it into an outlet, it doesn't have a long cord. I want the fork to be flat instead of regular. Since they sit in a fixed place in the living room, it would be nice to have towers without handles. I know there are towers that don't have handles to charge phones by just laying them on top. That's great, but impractical in the way we're using these towers. So no handles would be nice. All USB ports appear to be working and are changing rapidly. Another thing I would change is the direction of the sockets. so they all go the same way on the tower. If you're currently looking at a corner of the tower, outlets will work on either side with a grounding slot inside the corner or outside. In other words, on two sides of the tower, the bottom slot runs on the right side, and the two opposite sides on the left. I would prefer the bottom slot to run down the left or right of all four sides of the turret. I have WiFi enabled outlets that are rectangles with short sides of the outlets at the top and bottom. Socket and pins are on top. Because of this, the floor hangs over the sides of the tower and the tower outlets face each other, and I can't connect these two WiFi outputs to the adjacent sides of the tower. They do not fit. It is nice that the tower sockets are turned to the side, because this allows large conversions to be connected. Even if they walk over the edge of the sides of the tower. only the cables on the transformers on the adjacent side are touching. I see this as a problem with other rectangular Wi-Fi jacks, but the long sides are at the top and bottom, with the jack and pins in the middle. I may have to resort to round Wi-Fi sockets for use on towers.

Pros
  • SAFE AND RELIABLE: RoHS, CE and FCC certified. This USB power strip features over-voltage protection (900J), overload protection, short-circuit protection, over-current protection, over-voltage protection and over-temperature protection. It automatically turns off the power to protect connected devices when the power surges are too strong.
