Okay let me tell you I love thin walled measuring cups. They are easy to use and you don't need a forehand like a papaya to lift them in and out of the microwave like other models. But damn if the black inscription doesn't constantly disappear. I mean how can you make a dishwasher safe glass item that will not fade? I started looking at the marks to see if there was anything I could do about it, but that goes away too. Although the thought of experimentation, perhaps with engraving, is becoming more and more attractive. All in all a great measuring cup while the letters are still there. After that, it's just a coffee cup.
