📏 IKEA Glass Measuring Cup, 5.5"x 5"x 3.5" - Versatile and Precise Measurement Tool Review

Nice measuring cup. Four stars simply because it doesn't measure thirds of a cup. It has cups, quarter cups, ounces and milliliters. Maybe it's okay. I just can't use it for everything.

My first measuring cup lasted 4 years. with almost daily use. It finally broke when I dropped a heavy metal-handled knife into a measuring cup and broke it. It's not the cup's fault. Only mine.

I really liked this measuring cup. I had one and it ripped. We didn't break it, drop it, etc. It just ripped spontaneously after about 3 months. We bought a new one from Revain. They flow well and are easy to read etc. This one only took about 1 month. It also banged. I won't buy any other.

The cup is very nice and feels good in the hand. The units of measure are difficult to read and fall off when the item is placed in the dishwasher. I always wash by hand. The glass is beautiful but breaks easily. I like glass measuring cups because they don't stain and are easy to clean. This one is perfect for that. Not recommended if you have small children.

Okay let me tell you I love thin walled measuring cups. They are easy to use and you don't need a forehand like a papaya to lift them in and out of the microwave like other models. But damn if the black inscription doesn't constantly disappear. I mean how can you make a dishwasher safe glass item that will not fade? I started looking at the marks to see if there was anything I could do about it, but that goes away too. Although the thought of experimentation, perhaps with engraving, is becoming
