I was only looking for this device because it had a Mini DisplayPort connector which I could use to connect an external monitor . Come and find out (yes I see it in the fine print now and confirmed by Satechi Support) that connecting an HDMI monitor to the Mini DP port is NOT compatible and will not work on the 2020 MacBook Pro. Recommended. HDMI HDMI only. So what's the point of having Mini DP on this device? I paid more and ordered this particular hub because of the mini DP. I dug up an HDMI to HDMI cable and it works, but I could get a much cheaper HDMI to HDMI hub so I'll probably return it. Also, the hub is nice and small, the color goes well with my Mac, and the other ports work well!
