Don't know if the thing works. I have no way of checking the temperature on the PS5 (at least I don't think so, I just got it). I don't want to install it on my computer and see how it works. Oooooooh I'll say it works to lower the temperature. It feels right and matches the quality of my heatsink that came with my Asus motherboard. It has weight and the bottom is copper as it should be and it's smooth. It's decent quality and a very good price. I don't like the rubber bands that hold it up. You need to design some kind of clip that has different sizes for different discs. Elastic straps keep it firmly on the disc. It's a little scary using needle nose pliers on a $180 SSD. But it worked. I haven't broken anything. I give 5 stars because I'm really happy with it. work is done! Work! Work!
