I bought and installed this product, connected it to the pre-installed wiring harness which is in the dash behind the box which is removed to install the controller. I then drove my car to the dealer to have the control unit programmed. When I hitched a trailer to my truck, the brakes were constantly on. I took my truck back to the dealer, they did some troubleshooting and ended up removing this controller as it was generating excessive heat and smelling like it was about to catch fire. There was a Fomoco controller on the shelf at the dealer, installed and programmed, and everything was fine. I am now fighting with the seller and Revain for a refund for this defective product which may have set my car on fire. Just buy the part from the dealer and have it added and programmed.
