Easy assembly. 2 Phillips screws and plastic drywall anchors hold the charging hook/port in a convenient location on my office wall. My house is mainly made of oak and ceramic tiles. Carpeting consists of several carpets. The hardwood picks up easily and the carpet is "better than expected". In the past, a speed mop on hardwoods and a carpet sweeper were used in hotels for everyday needs. Of course, cobwebs and other messes require a real and reliable canister vacuum with the right attachments to get deep and thorough. Probably the last time I did it or something. I have a lot of cordless tools and was expecting a cordless VAC like the Impulse. When premium vacuums came along, I realized this beauty was just around the corner. Amazing.4-27-19. I love this household cleaning tool. Life is much easier. i hate dust But here's some advice I'd appreciate, so I'm presenting it today. To keep your Impulse running like new (with powerful suction), I advise you to empty the dust container after each use, even after small loads. Also, after a full run (assuming this is done fairly frequently, at least once a week) empty the dust bin, remove BOTH filters, rinse the bin and filters under cold running water. Let dry and reassemble. 5 minute service for like new performance. Good product.
