Review on Aquarium Thermometer: General Tools AQ150 with Waterproof Probe for Accurate In and Out Temperature Monitoring by Andrea Larson

Inaccurate and alarm going off randomly now

If you like waking up in the middle of the night panicking because this thing has a false alarm then I would recommend this product. If you prefer a good night's sleep, skip this and pay a bit more for something more accurate and reliable, like the Inkbird (306 Wi-Fi model I have), which I know is a POS instead. I bought 2 of these, one for my main tank and one for my quarantine so I can sleep easy at night knowing that a horrible thermometer failure will never cause me to wake up in a tank with dead fish. Unfortunately, I now have the joy of waking up to false alarms instead. I've had them for maybe a year and now they're both giving me false alarms and I'm fed up, hence the review. During the day it's one thing, but at night I don't want to be woken up unless it's important, and this thing that happens in the middle of the night when everything is fine is annoying to say the least. were never exact and always differed by a few degrees. But for a minimum maximum alert, which is why I got it, it was enough because I just needed to know if my fish was boiling or freezing so I could save it before it's too late. you have been warned
