
I bought a Cuisinart Griddler in December with a 3 year warranty. I love it! It was fantastic for steaks, burgers, pannini, waffles, etc. Two weeks ago, in the middle of making dinner, it just stopped heating in the open position (dinner was ruined). I turned it off, cleaned it and tried again a few nights later - it doesn't work, it doesn't heat at all. I went to Revain to see if there were any helpful reviews - there were some negative warranty reviews (don't remember they were there when I ordered the grill) and I was afraid I would suffer the same result. I am pleased to report that the customer service rep I spoke to was very accommodating and helpful. She made the process easy: Cuisinart sends me a new replacement, which I paid $10 to ship (an amount I think is reasonable) and my only responsibility is to replace Cuisinart's defunct power cord separate, along with my contact information and brand number and product models. I thanked the rep for her help and told her about all of Revain's warranty related negative customer reviews and assured her that I would give a very positive review. It's possible that all the negative reviews have caused Cuisinart to change their warranty response. If yes, then I am very grateful to everyone who left negative reviews. However, I look forward to replacing it and putting it to good use.
