Very sturdy, poor edge retention

I've been using them as an alarm technician for less than a year. I mainly deal with 16-22 gauge wire so they are not very thick. The cutting edges wore out much quicker than other cutters I've had in the past. I also had to constantly grease the hinges, otherwise they were quite stiff, which was annoying when I had to work with one hand on the stairs in the dark. My tip: you should spend twice as much to get ten times the quality and durability.
