I purchased this product with the sole intention of using it on a daily basis and being large enough to carry my emergency gear, phone and other items. other general purpose items that I carry with me on a regular basis. It's not too big (which worries a short person) but it's also big enough to fit in my first aid kit (which is very important because I have to carry it with me at all times and it's about the size of a textbook so it's not very wallet friendly. For travel I'd say you probably need something bigger but for walking I think it's great. It has a pocket on the back to keep a small wallet safe. And there is one separate pocket with zip pocket for iPad , book and some other items.In terms of versatility, I get compliments on my bag ALL THE TIME and my favorite is to show them the convertible strap.Like a backpack.If you lift it up,you can use it as a shoulder strap or even use a shoulder strap. It also has a handle. This feature is by far the best thing about this product. I've been using it for about a month now and the quality is astonishing. Looks like an expensive bag for over $100 lore but it isn't. o long-lived. I see I'll probably have it for (at least) a year before I think about replacing it. And that on the condition that I don't get the same bag in different colors.
