Economical alternative to OEM. Original Subaru brake pads for the 2000 Outback. They are very hard, don't bite and feel bad. They are VERY dusty, but that's to be expected given the composition and performance expectations. On the other hand, they offer a much better initial bite and better modulation. They get a little better as they get up to temperature, but since this isn't a workplace, they don't like overheating. They replace the roads. They wear out quicker than OEM, but again, that's to be expected. I would give them 5 stars over OEM except for the dust level. I'd be interested in trying more performance oriented pads if I'm riding and braking aggressively, but don't want to spend the money as this is a significant jump in price.
