Not worth saving. Just buy genuine Brita filters
Nothing filters like a Brita filter. Yes they fit the Brita but it only has 2 small holes as opposed to the Brita which has 4. It took 4 hours to filter a pitcher and even after half a dozen glasses it still tasted like charcoal! I tried 3 filters and thought it must be a problem with the filter itself. I ended up ordering the regular Brita filters (yes, I paid a few bucks more) and got the results I was used to.
