I teach on a Chromebook with OS. It was very slow, transferring around 42Mbps wirelessly. Connect this adapter to an RJ 45 port or a router and the average speed is 110Mbps. A wired connection is always better than a wireless one. When I come back to class I will be using 2 computers and both will be connected to the network while the students will be consuming Wi-Fi bandwidth. High latency and latency training are painful, so this device is a godsend. Just plug and play and voila! 5 Stars.
