Used these to make a removable and interchangeable projector/candle holder shelf for a second wall plaque my wife wanted from me. They were easy to install, I used a self centering hinge and I had no trouble installing them as others have mentioned. I also countersunk the bracket on the shelf and candlestick so it fits snugly against the wall. Very happy with the product as you cannot see how the items are attached to the wall board.
