πŸ•―Great Natural Soy Wax

I love this natural soy wax. It's a good amount for a decent price and the quality is excellent. The flakes are packaged in a large plastic bag, which is a bit flimsy for convenience but has no holes. I would probably feel better if the wax was packaged in a stronger, resealable bag or in a double bag. I just made my first candles and gave them wings. It turned out great, better than I could have imagined. First, I prepared 2 glass tea light holders by inserting organic hemp wicks in the center bottom with wick stickers (both by EricX Light). I spread the wicks out as wide as I could, making sure they were securely attached to the glass surface. Then I measured the soy wax. I heated 1 cup soy wax in a Pyrex measuring bowl for a total of almost 2 minutes, pausing to stir occasionally. Towards the end I added about 2 tsp. Added stearic acid and heated further in the microwave. Then I mixed it very well and added 1/4 cup of Winter Pink Mica, a shimmery milky pink color. I then added 65 drops of an invigorating blend of citrus essential oils I made with Lemon, Grapefruit, Bergamot, Lime, Blood Orange, Vanilla, Fragonia, Maichang and Rosaline top to bottom. I kept stirring and sniffing the mixture to make sure I got what I wanted. Then I carefully poured the mixture into glass tea holders. I immediately cleaned my Pyrex measuring spoons and bowl with castile soap and water using a small brush. It was easy when done soon after. I guessed all the measurements but I don't think it could have gotten any better to be honest. I've never followed a recipe when making homemade natural products, skincare products, dietary supplements, and medicinal tea blends, and I won't start now. It was amazing and I can't wait to make more candles with this wonderful soy wax. Buy more if you can! Now I understand how much to use and I just gave you my secret recipe! Good luck and have fun making candles - I know what I'm doing. β™‘πŸ•―
