These relays are fine. First bet. If you first lubricate the socket in the fuse box with CRC cleaner/lube {BLUE can} or even a WD-40 spray. absolutely no problem pulling it out again in the future if needed. A little lube goes a long way! The relay cover is not removable. These relays are designed to fit the slotted contacts very tightly. This establishes a positive electrical connection to the protected device. They are perfect for both my 1998 Chrysler Sebring Convertible (146,000 miles) and my son's 2001 Sebring sedan (225,000 miles). I've bought 70's and many of them over the years and have never had any problems. They're just as well made or better than ever! Go and get her. The price is correct!
