Very impressed with this product and very satisfied! What impresses us even more is the fact that the walls and dividers are not cardboard/paper! See image. Rigid corrugated plastic sheets. Ironically, I was expecting the divider cells to be vertical instead of horizontal for added strength when stacked, but they're still exceptionally strong. Although oriented horizontally, they provide additional rigidity against lateral bending and warping. However, great design. Also, they are sewn, not just glued or heat sealed. This means they can be legally hand washed and won't fall apart! Just make sure to dry thoroughly in case water seeps into the walls/partitions. Double zippers are smooth and durable. The thick fabric tabs sewn to each zipper pull also feel very comfortable. The cup/mug box also has handles, which I didn't "test" though, as I personally prefer to carry them from below. It goes without saying that today they last far longer than ANY paper/cardboard based cookware storage. Organize and protect contents MUCH better than any padded or cardboard storage products. Worth mentioning but not complaining by any means: 1) It would be great to have additional felt dividers in case the plates/saucers are thinner and fit more than 12 in each storage bin. 2) I could not find a suitable box from this manufacturer to hold the large "platters" or "bowls" etc. So I ordered a 2nd set and used a rectangular cup/mug box with o dividers to store our large plates and bowl. To accommodate more or deeper bowls and serving platters, your glass case (rather than a cup/mug) may be more appropriate. Storage disks as described in point 2 would also be at the top. But it's easy enough to reuse a few small hand towels and/or buy extra felt sheets and cut custom sizes. In summary, I can't think of a better storage solution than this product in China (especially for the price). Except maybe something so indestructible (and therefore much more expensive) that you can push your china down the stairs because you're too lazy to carry storage boxes like a normal person. :-) But actually, this porcelain storage set exceeded all our expectations. My only regret is that I didn't purchase this set a long time ago, so every time we take it from storage I have to wash all the dishes again. NOW, using our special occasion china service doesn't mean much prep work to wash over 60 pieces of crockery before use. Now stop arguing and order this set. Your dishes and the effective preparation for the holiday will thank you!
