We live in Colorado and have pets. I bought a white leather sofa four years ago and the carbon monoxide sun has scorched its back and cushions to leather. I smeared moisturizer on my skin, but the sun was shining. In addition, my dogs run through mud in bad weather or when the snow melts. To solve this problem I put an old blanket over it and eventually switch to a blanket. It completely transformed the space and looks cool. Of course it's now covered in dog hair and I haven't tried any methods of cleaning it yet (hence no cleaning rating). I'm sure it's going to get dirty soon, but the covers aren't to blame. The attached image is real, not when I first installed it, which would be more impressive.
