Review on Linksys USB 3.0 Ethernet Adapter for MacBook Air, Chromebook, Ultrabook (USB3GIG), Black by Dana Schmidt

I bought two of these ethernet adapters and use them to connect my Chromecast 1st and 2nd gen to a wired network instead of a wireless one. Judging by the internet, Chromecasts are finicky and only work with adapters based on specific chipsets. They certainly work well with Chromecasts. I have not tested the USB3 aspect of these adapters (Chroma only works with USB2) nor have I tested them in any other capacity. But they work fine for my application. Although you can tell they get a little warm. If I needed a USB-to-Ethernet adapter, I'd buy them again, but unless I'm using them exclusively for Chromecasts, I might look for something cheaper first.
