Good but sterility concerns

Although all needles were individually wrapped and appeared sterile, they were difficult to use. Each wrapper had no indentations or flared edges, so I had to cut each one with scissors. This later worried me about their sterility (my scissors are clean but not sterile) and wasted a lot of time. In addition, there is no indication on each individual needle pack that the sterilization has worked. When the needles are autoclaved, a small dot often turns a certain color, indicating the process is complete. They had no such clue.
