This is a solid 165Hz FHD gaming monitor for its price range. JLink is a Japanese company with a lot of experience making monitors, but I've never used one of them. I've upgraded from the LG 24" FHD solely for the magnification and 165Hz refresh rate and it's been fairly satisfactory so far. Assembly is very simple and requires inserting the monitor's mounting bracket into the stand and then the two that come with it Screws You will need a screwdriver After that, plug in the power and HDMI cable (included) and you're done On the back you have 2 HDMI 2.0, 2 DP1.4, a DC power connector and a 3.5 -mm headphone jack -in speakers I love the really thin bezels and the stand which is heavy solid metal rather than plastic I don't usually like three point monitor or TV stands but each point on this one has a rubber bottom to increase it handle so that's a plus. Goes up/down a total of 20 degrees. I've calibrated it to fit my second monitor. In the photo, I've attached, you will see the display settings user interface, which is intuitive and can be navigated using the joystick controls on the back of the monitor, which also doubles as the on/off button for the display. Below are my custom settings, you may or may not like them, but I've provided them anyway: Brightness 95, Contrast 46, Black Balance 35, Sharpness: 50, Super Bright: Colorless, Temperature: WarmGamma: 2.4 Hue: 50 Saturation :60 Personally, I've found that the default color temperature skews towards the cooler side, but this is easily adjustable. Viewing angles are good for a VA panel and I have true color reproduction of up to 170 degrees in either direction. I didn't find a single dead pixel. There are also game settings and features like FreeSync/G-Sync, Overdrive, HDR and Game Assist if you like those bells and whistles. impressive response times with no visual artifacts at all refresh rate settings, and the game feels really smooth on it. In my opinion this is a great victory. All in all, this is a great 1080p 165Hz monitor at an affordable price that ticks all the boxes for performance and quality so far. Highly recommended.
