Shampoo may or may not be appropriate depending on the individual (dandruff kind, cause, hair type, personal sensitivity to the ingredients, etc.). This shampoo will not work on dry dandruff; it is designed primarily for oily scalp with dandruff. Salicylic acid and menthol are both present in the mix, though I didn't feel any of them (to me, it doesn't matter; what matters is that it accomplishes its purpose). I have a picture of the jar itself that has warnings to "use with care" attached. On my hair, it is paired with a Lador balm and a mask with acidity levels that are close by. Consumption-wise, the first time you wash your head with it, it probably foams poorly, like many shampoos presumably do, but the second time around, two or three clicks should be sufficient (I have wavy hair that reaches the middle of my back).
