So I got this because I don't have a docking station that will work with the laptop my office gave me and I wanted to set up two monitors at home. The office uses something similar, but the DVA USB-C connector is used at work. That works fine. Since I have newer monitors and HDMI cables, I bought this one to use at home. It never worked. I can't get a signal from a connected monitor. I've swapped the monitor cables and all those plugged directly into the laptop (i.e. without using an adapter) work fine. The one using the adapter is not receiving a signal. A complete waste of money.
