Works great right out of the box on a Lenovo computer with Windows 10. No drivers or anything else needs to be installed. I've been messing around with other adapters that required Chinese drivers found on the device itself or downloaded from a website I couldn't read. They worked on other machines (Win 7) but not on the new Lenovo. But this only worked without installing drivers.

Save money and buy a quality USB-C to HDMI cable instead of this adapter. I tried this adapter on my new Acer Chromebook Spin 13 with different HDMI 1.3 and High Speed HDMI cables. Worked well with an old HP Pavilion 23xi monitor (September 2013) and a newer Dell UltraSharp U2717D monitor (October 2017), but not with my 48" Sharp TV (March 2015). The other comes with a Chromebook that I take to different places. I've never had any problems with any of them. And one of them is used on many different TVs.
