A lot of research led me to this purchase. I've reconsidered the solution. It is a wonderful instrument, most suitable for a large family or a small restaurant, it is large and bulky and takes up space; I had to take a picture before unboxing because I can't for my life bring it back to original condition if everything fits together. I've used it a dozen times. Too fancy for a flea market, too small for Craigslist, it lives in my top closet. I returned to my 25 year old handmade mandolin in Japanesetown. Oh good. THREE YEARS LATER: Before all those January days, I should have trusted my gut. It's in my donation box.
