Review on Copic Gasenfude Nylon Brush Pen: Basic Black - High-Quality Artist Tool for Precise Inking and Coloring by Karla Richter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This brush pen is damn good!

This brush pen is damn good. Draws a very thin line when I need it and spreads out nicely for thicker lines. In my general drawing, this gives character to lines with a slight line spread. Exactly what I expect from a brush pen. I can buy a Copic set so I wanted to start with this pen for comparison. My other favorite is the Pentel Pocket Brush Pen, which comes with a spare refill. This Kopic is very similar. I've used a few other brush pens. I started with a Prismacolor premium brush tip marker with a smaller, stiffer brush (in a set of 4 with 2 liners and 1 chisel), a Tombow double-ended brush from their grayscale pen set, and a Pigma brush pen. Everything is fine and has its uses.
