November 23,2021: update. I was at work and my phone fell off the counter onto our change drawer. I thought this was it. That my phone was shattered because it had hit the corner of the metal box. I was wrong! I have a pretty deep gouge on the screen protector but it did its job.September 8, 2021: This is the third poetic phone case I've had. (Different phones) and my sons have the black case on their game phones. These are by far the best cases I've ever had. It comes with the option to use the build in screen protector ( what I use) or for you to use your own screen protector. I've dropped on wood, concrete, asphalt; as well as accidently letting it fly from my hand. I've never had a problem with these cases. Protects the phone great. I will say that on the charging port I cut off the little flap. It pushes against the charging cord too much and I didn't want it to mess up the port or the charger. Always would recommend poetic phone cases
