8/29/21 Updated review: The seller contacted me because he had wet our luggage with a cargo bag on our first trip. The seller sent a replacement which we have just used on another family outing, it didn't rain as much as our previous trip but it did rain on one of the days and we had no water issues with the replacement, everything was dry. I have revised my review based on the seller's responsiveness and sincerely wanted to understand why we had an issue and offer a solution. We have used the Highland 1041700 for the last 6 years and have not had any water ingress or wear issues. Compared to Highland, MeeFar didn't seem as heavy as Highland at first glance. It was raining heavily on our drive down and by the time we got to our destination our luggage was wet. I made sure the flap completely covered the zipper and didn't see any obvious holes. The presence of additional straps on the side allows you to attach the bag to the trunk, but I would not recommend it if rain is forecast.
