If I remember correctly, some people have complained that the packaging has been ripped or torn when separating or using these packaging. I think it depends on how you use them. I had no problem separating or filling them. I use them in two small bins (under my desk and in my bathroom) so they don't fill up with large, sharp, or heavy objects, so strength and durability are fine. I see if you need it for heavy or sharp objects they might not be strong enough. Cost wise I could have saved more by just using plastic bags from my grocery store but I didn't like the look so I spent dollars to buy these clear bags which make them look a lot cleaner and that makes me happier. So worth the cost. The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that despite information to let me know their size and how they might fit in some bins, these bags didn't fit the other bin I have underneath. It was close but when trying to figure out if it would fit I wasn't sure. but I bought them anyway (because I knew for sure they would fit in two other smaller baskets. (I still use plastic bags under the kitchen sink).
