After reading other reviews of these glue sticks I found that regular 98% alcohol is only good for removing this stuff from your car but if you use denatured alcohol it works every time. Black sticks better than gold, so you need to figure out which glue works best for the job. The metal on my daughter's car is very thin, so I coated it with gold glue so it wouldn't pull too hard on the dent, because then you had to put it back in. I'm a beginner and I'm very happy with the results I've had from pulling out the dents this way. I've been training with my wife's and daughter's car and the more I do it the better I get.
