Double check that you received the correct part before beginning the installation. The part I received in the box marked YH-1873 was YH-1874, I believe. They look almost the same and I didn't notice until I removed the old part. The guide mark hole is different, as is the number of teeth. The correct part should have 5 metal pins in the electrical connector. Unfortunately, on my '08 Expedition, I had already removed the center console and lower instrument panel to replace the driver's door on the underside of the air conditioning unit. I did the installation on Saturday afternoon so the dealer wasn't open and won't be until Monday. Luckily, A***Zone saved me the trouble of sending back the old defective part and starting over because they stocked a Dorman product for this application. I prefer to use an OEM part so I'm sad that it was the wrong part in the right box. Not sure if anyone returned parts and swapped them out or if it came from the factory or dealer that way. Either way, it's very frustrating as it's not an easy repair or part to get hold of. I hope this review will save someone else the headache of checking the part first. I've included photos of the differences to help. If this review was helpful, please click on it
