Exactly what I needed. Delivered faster than stated and it was the right part. Easy installation (lots of YouTube videos). For two bolts I used a 10" extension and 2 knuckles to get the 8mm bolts out. It worked great and I didn't have to freak out.

Perfect fit for my 2008 Ford Expedition. I also watched a YouTube video of a man changing one of the conductors by removing the faceplate and radio; along with the glove box. It was swapped out in less than 30 minutes and was in the same location as my truck. Saved me hundreds of dollars. I will buy another one for my parking heater/air conditioner.

My Expedition started clicking off the dashboard. My truck has dual-zone climate control, so I bought two of them. One is on the right behind the radio, the other above the steering column. In my case, the last one clicked. Exchanged both. Remember to turn on the ignition, which will reset them. AC is normal, no clicks.

Bought a 2007 Expedition and it showed obvious signs of failure on this part. I'm not a mechanic but I found the car out on YouTube, bought a spare and installed it myself. I saved myself a few hundred dollars just by making it myself. It only required 8mm ratchets to loosen the two screws holding the part in place and then swap it out and pull everything back out. It's been over 4 weeks since I installed it and everything works great.

Double check that you received the correct part before beginning the installation. The part I received in the box marked YH-1873 was YH-1874, I believe. They look almost the same and I didn't notice until I removed the old part. The guide mark hole is different, as is the number of teeth. The correct part should have 5 metal pins in the electrical connector. Unfortunately, on my '08 Expedition, I had already removed the center console and lower instrument panel to replace the driver's door on…
