Doesn't swim with Hero 7 New Black. I wasn't smart and wasn't wearing a bracelet when I first tested it. I almost lost my camera in a muddy lake when it immediately began to sink. I'm not sure if the newer cameras' slightly smaller size, heavier weight, and lack of a plastic body has resulted in the grip lacking buoyancy. I had to modify it with a piece of pasta to make it work. I got this one because of the tripod which works pretty well but I would look elsewhere as it doesn't do its main job.
